Chainsaw Dance

Chainsaw Dance is a free 2D Windows arcade-style game developed by Benedique. This exciting horror game was inspired by the Japanese horror manga Chainsaw Man. Step into the world of horror manga and help Chainsaw Man hack and slash his way to victory in this free indie rhythm game. Chainsaw Dance is a must-play for fans of horror manga, rhythm games, and old-school arcade-style games.

Horror In the Game

The Chainsaw dance replays the horrific scenes in the manga. It lets you play along with the unlimited scenes with surprises every step. This series is by Tatsuki Fujimoto, and it debuted in 2018. It takes place in Japan during the late 1980s and is about a man who wields a chainsaw to fight against flesh-eating ghouls.

The story is about a young man named Denji, who becomes a devil hunter and turns into a monstrous human-devil hybrid with chainsaws for arms. The game puts an interesting twist on the typical “what happens when he gets the power” trope. This was among the most popular shows at the time. The hit series sold 6 million copies and won the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award’s Shnen category. This inspired the making of the game in its honor.

The Story Behind the Game

Unlike the original film, Chainsaw Dance’s plot is lighter. While on the date with the deadly main character, you replicated Kobeni Hagashiyama’s DDR sequence. Take control of Kobeni’s movements by pressing the proper keys in time with the approaching arrows on the screen. You will get a high score and fancy graphics when you win.

The demo of the Chain saw dance was designed with one song. Although this means you can never fail or die, you can keep trying to improve your score as you move on to the other levels. Use the keyboard keys D for moving to the left, F for going down, J for going up, and letter K for going right. These are standard keys that are used with most arcade-style games, which makes the Chainsaw dance an easy-to-control game. The keys allow you to start dancing.

It is impossible to rebind these commands, but they’re not difficult to learn. All you have to do is keep up a strong run of hits to earn multipliers.

Unlimited Opportunities

The Chainsaw Dance app offers unlimited opportunities to horror enthusiasts. The game is fun for those who love the surprises and suspense of horror movies. However, there is no way to reassign the controls to different keys of your choice. Regardless, it is an exciting and adrenaline-packed game that allows you to choose different characters with varying personalities and abilities.
